What is Code Pub? The Code Pub is an international network with events for women and gender diverse individuals who want to learn more about tech. Our goal is empowering every individual in the tech industry by creating a platform where one can be inspired and inspire others. The Code Pub was created by Netlight in 2013 with the purpose of increasing the number of women and gender diverse individuals in the tech industry. By lowering the threshold for getting started with programming and highlighting female role models within tech, we believe that we can make a difference. Join us on May 28 for a friendly hands-on session: Build and Program Your Own Plant Moisture Sensor! Ever wondered how to make a plant "talk" to your software? In this workshop, you’ll work with an ESP32 microcontroller to build a soil moisture sensor, dip your toes into embedded programming, and stream real-time readings into a shared dashboard. No technical experience necessary- just curiosity and enthusiasm, as well, please bring your own computer! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, you’ll leave with new skills and new friends.
