About

A breakfast event, kicked off with a moderated panel discussion on the commercialization of accelerated discovery, AI for Science, and self-driving labs. Panel to be followed by Q&A and networking. The Acceleration Consortium (https://acceleration.utoronto.ca/), in partnership with Wittington Ventures, is convening a curated morning focused on the next generation of Canadian talent working at the intersection of AI, automation, and the physical sciences. As Canadian deep tech capital looks to the emerging landscape of AI for Science investment, the event brings together the inventors, builders, and investors shaping the commercial frontier of self-driving labs and accelerated discovery. This event is intended to open an ongoing conversation about how Canadian scientific capability becomes company-building momentum. Toronto Tech Week is a citywide celebration of the people building what’s next. From May 25–29, 2026, founders, investors, and builders come together for hundreds of community-led events across Toronto, connecting tens of thousands of people around Canadian tech.
