A curated space dedicated to Black men in tech, aiming to connect with one another in an authentically Black male space: The Barberhood, to exist as we are and discuss topics important to us. An organic, unstructured mixer focused on community and authentic connection during Toronto Tech Week. The tech industry moves fast, but real connection takes time. Join us for Cut & Connect, an evening dedicated to Black men navigating the Toronto tech ecosystem. We're stepping out of the office and into The Barberhood - a space that has proven to be a pillar of community and authentic conversation - to connect, share experiences, and exist as we are. This isn't your typical tech mixer. There are no rigid panels, no formal slide decks, and no forced networking. Instead, we’re hosting an organic, unstructured evening focused on: Authentic Community: Meet other founders, builders, and professionals who share your journey. Real Talk: A safe space to discuss the topics that matter most to us in a setting that feels like home. Good Vibes: Light refreshments, music, and the best atmosphere in the city.
