5K Run + Coffee in matched small groups by LYTT

Toronto Tech Week is a citywide celebration of the people building what’s next. From May 26–29, 2026, founders, investors, and builders come together for hundreds of community-led events across Toronto, connecting tens of thousands of people around Canadian tech. Torontotechweek.com. A different way to meet people during Toronto Tech Week. Heads up: this isn't a typical event. There's no single venue and no one big group. We'll match you into a small group of 6 to 8 based on what you're working on and who you want to meet. Each group gets its own meeting point for a 5K run and its own coffee spot after. Run with people who are actually thinking about the same things you are. How it works When you RSVP, you'll get a short form (3 questions, 60 seconds): what you're working on, who you want to meet this week, and your rough pace. We use your answers to match you into a group of 6 to 8. You'll get your group, your meeting point, your coffee spot, and quick intros for everyone, the night before. The morning 8:30 AM: Meet your group at your assigned spot 8:35 AM: Intros, group photo, pace check 8:45 AM: 5K together. No one gets dropped, slowest pace sets the run. 9:30 AM: Coffee with your group at your assigned spot 10:00 AM: You're back to tech week Pace Conversational. We pace to the slowest person in the group and walk breaks are fine. If you want to race, there are other tech week runs for that. This one is for talking. What to bring Just yourself in something you can run in. Capacity RSVP doesn't guarantee a spot. We confirm by email 48h before so we can match thoughtfully.
